Our story
SwiftPost started in 1994 in a small Toronto warehouse with a simple promise: every parcel gets the same care, whether it's a birthday gift or a million-dollar piece of art. That promise hasn't changed in three decades.
What has changed is the technology. Today, our tracking platform streams live scan events the moment a barcode is read — typically within 30 seconds. Predictive ETAs recompute on each event using live traffic, weather, and customs data, so the time you see is the time we actually expect.
We've grown to 12.4 million parcels a year, but our obsession is the same. Every crate still gets a tamper-evident seal and a photo at the door. Every shipment still flies next-flight-out. Every customer still gets a real human on the phone if they need one.

SwiftPost integrates directly with Canada Post's official Tracking API. That means when you enter a tracking number on our platform, you're getting the same data Canada Post uses — just presented better, with a faster interface and richer tracking timeline.
When the Canada Post API is temporarily unavailable, our platform falls back to a clearly-marked demo mode so you can preview the experience. We're a third-party service, not affiliated with Canada Post.
