Welcome to SwiftPost. By accessing or using our parcel tracking service at ca-parcel-tracking.pages.dev (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

    Quick Summary: Our service is free to use. We provide parcel tracking information for Canada Post shipments. Data shown may be simulated when the live Canada Post API is unavailable. Use the service at your own discretion.
  

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SwiftPost provides a parcel tracking lookup service for Canada Post shipments. The Service allows users to:

Enter a Canada Post tracking number (PIN)
Retrieve the current shipment status and tracking history
View estimated delivery dates and service details

The Service integrates with Canada Post's official Tracking API. When the Canada Post API is unavailable, the Service may display simulated tracking data for demonstration purposes. This simulated data is clearly marked with a "Demo mode" indicator.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this eligibility requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You Agree NOT To:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Submit tracking numbers that do not belong to you or that you do not have permission to track
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to make excessive requests
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

4.2 Rate Limits

The Service is rate-limited to 30 requests per minute per IP address. Excessive requests will be temporarily blocked.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SwiftPost and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

The SwiftPost name, logo, and product names are trademarks of SwiftPost. You may not use such marks without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party services, including:

Canada Post Tracking API — for real tracking data
Cloudflare Pages — for hosting and CDN
Google AdSense — for advertising (when active)

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Without limiting the foregoing, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
Warranties as to the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of tracking data

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SWIFTPOST, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR:

Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
Any damages resulting from (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) any content obtained from the Service; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SwiftPost and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third party's rights

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
